The Black Dressing

Room 6

Six Black Accessories I Like

Hah. We just entered this neat, orderly room, and I already know we're about to have fun. This is just beautiful, exactly what I like - black but nonetheless glamour apparel. I don't know who's dressing this is, but, might have to grab a thing or two to nurture my pile back at the corner... This reminds me of the janitor closet scene in the movie "16 wishes" with beloved Jessie or shall I say, Debby Ryan (love this movie love love love). But enough talking now, let's start the perusing & slow touching & try-on session.

Note

The items I'm about to show you are mostly accessories. They are all items I would buy or look forward to buying. Let's see how you like my taste in things.

Item 1

Alright, starting with something I love: headbands. This trio is the first thing that caught my eye. They were set on metal stands next to each other, in an isolated part of the dressing room. Beautiful - beautiful pieces... and you haven't even seen how they fit on the head. I've seen these before. I heard they were designed by a Tokyo-based designer, a Japanese woman. She graduated from Paris' prestigious ESMOD school (a private school where you learn fashion design and technology). She became known for reworking Western styles with Japanese concepts of silhouette, volume, and textile contrast, resulting in a deconstructed aesthetic. - I love all 3 of these creations of hers, and I would wear all of them, but if someone told me I'd die if I didn't pick one, I'd have to pick this one:

Moving on...

Item 2

When we attacked the bag section, I caught myself looking at this one more often than I should've. But then I decided I didn't like it and started browsing the other options... But I just had to come look at it some more and it then grew on me very fast. Now I like it and would get it. The black rose detailing had me dubious, but after making some scenarios in my head of an unexistent version of me wearing it (denial) I ended up loving it. Look at this one, what do you think?

Item 3

Staying in the "black rose" theme. Something for our dainty necks. Something velvety, something silk satin-y, something... glamour. This accessory stood out since it was the only one made of fabric with its pink version on the jewelry holder. When I look at it, I imagine some deviously smart rich girl sitting at a desk in a nice, neat, modern office with this fashion creation hugging her neck:

The pink version:

Which one do you prefer? I vote black. For this one, I see a bit of the same thing, instead it's a blonde this time.

Item 4

I'm not going to lie, I almost want to gatekeep this one. Shifting to a clothing piece. A jacket, but a classy jacket. This is something I'm 100% getting if I don't die. Hands down the best - most eye-pleasing clothing piece I've seen in a while, if not the best. Incredible cut, just so well executed. From the collar to the low crossed opening. Details. Makes your figure look neat, tidy & sophisticated. I like simple things that have a little twist to them, and this just respects the assignment. It's a piece from a South Korean brand as well. Something about Asians and elegance... They just got it. Love it. (By the way, sorry for the poor handmade PNG quality you're about to witness, as good as it got. You can click the "shop now" button below to see it tried on.)

Let's see what's in this thin drawer...

Item 5

Hm. Slides smoothly. There's a variety of quality looking gloves laid out in front of me. I picked out a pair that was calling out to me and tried it out. Nice fit, they're short (which I like, gives a certain style) and nicely tight. They have a satisfying sheen to them and a comfortable silk interior. What stood out about this pair is the silver detailing/ring present on the ring finger. I like it, it's unique. Another effective detail. Take a look (these you also need to see tried on, just click the "shop now" button to observe them better on the merchant's website):

Item 6

Finishing this dressing tour with a classic. Croc-embossed pattern - always glamour in my book. These just look mafia and so Italian. And they're actually made in Italy. The more you know... Even the design just reminds me of Italian women. Old-school type of classy (my favorite fashion style, I think it's the one that suits me the best). This pair looks insanely good on the feet, they're fine and not bulky. I love slingback heels and the pattern just tops it off in this case. For me, these are a must-have. Need at least a pair of these.
